from the heart

**********IF YOU'RE HERE BECAUSE YOU ARE GOOGLING THE CA XPPINKX POW WOW TRYING TO FIND DIRT: MOVE THE FECK ON. YOU AREN'T GOING TO FIND ANY DIRT HERE. Yes, i'm talking about YOU, person from Deer Park, Texas. (multiple times Googling to my page in the last 2 days..really??)

P.S. Yes, I did leave early to attend EDC. You know what else? I left cash with another blogger and I left behind MORE than enough to cover my share and then some.

I feel like my life in San Francisco is desolate. Yesterday Serena asked me what I do on the weekends. Like I've said before, I don't really go out. I actually do nothing on weekends. I stay home, contacts off glasses on, no make-up, tank top & sweats catching up on YouTube, blogger, Twitter, reading books, sipping wine and watching LOADS of television. The majority of my friends are older than I am. We're all currently at different milestones in our lives (i.e. getting married, having kids, moving away etc) and it's been hard to get together. Ahhh growing pains..I've come to terms with that and have no qualms with it. I still view myself as young (25 years young baby!). I've got the heart of a lion and my hunger and fascination for life itself will never cease. I don't want to settle for the rest of my life just yet. There is still so much of the world I haven't seen or done yet. I guess you can say I am a bit of a wandering soul. (But i'm still dead set on moving to Los Angeles!)
They do say that home is where your heart is. My heart is no longer in San Francisco... it's been left behind in Los Angeles. There is so much life (and sun!) in Los Angeles. Art, music, food, people, and my love. Have you ever been hungry at 10pm in San Francisco? If you've got nothing in your fridge, good luck finding anything open in San Francisco! We seem to not really have much of a nightlife scene. How pathetic. For a city so "liberal" there isn't much to do anymore. *shrugs* I'm just done with this city. I've been chasing the sun all my life..
At least this past weekend was amazing. I got to do something i've always wanted to do with my boyfriend: eat dinner together on a week night. Sounds like a silly little dream but we're in a long distance relationship (it's been taking a toll on me lately) and we only get to spend weekends together. I got to eat ramen with Tina.. I finally met Angelique, we went to Pam's Pow Wow and met so many girls... (By the way, i'm waiting for someone to post up the group photos from Pow Wow so I can steal it and post it)
I'm ready for Wimbledon y'all!
this is what I wore Thursday
t-shirt from American Eagle that says "live your life" I bought it years ago, forgot how much it was
skirt from Aeropostale, bought it years ago forgot how much it was.
Tina & I @ Tea Station in Gardena. I introduced her to my infamous "boba noodles"
my friday makeup.
some romper thingy from some hipster store in Berkeley $30
paired it with dark green Isaac Mizrahi gladiators from Target
spotted @ Love Culture at Del Amo Mall: what's wrong with this shirt?
Saturday day time outfit, really love it. Sad how I can never wear this in San Francisco  because 1) it's never warm enough 2) men are horny as fuck here and act like they've never seen legs before and they will say anything and everything to you for showing the slightest bit of skin in San Francisco. It's quite obnoxious!
shades: Ralph Lauren $80 @ Nordstrom Rack
top: Lara's Closet $30 from Del Amo Mall
shorts: Lara's Closet $27 from Del Amo Mall
dress: they have the worst customer service ever
belt: Express
dress gave me a little bit of booty though *shrugs*
my favorite part of my outfit Michael by Michael Kors $40

the pow wow makeup
where the pow wow took place
Angelique!!!!! FINALLY!!! I look shitty here but she has a better pic on her cam *ahem* that means i'm waiting on you to post it woman but take your time! I know you're busy
I wasn't looking/ready so I look stupid but Pam looks hawt as hell & such a perv here I love it
sorry my fatass crushed ya Pam but you are one rad ass chick
THANK YOU ever so much for my very first Pow Wow. Sorry I had to leave early ladies!! I got set onto a time constraint and didn't even make the event (EDC) blah. I still had a lovely time meeting all the girls even though I didn't take many pix (fail on my part, I was busy talking, ahhaa). I'm hoping some of the other ladies will post Pow Wow pix soon or so that I can at least steal the big group picture from somebody!! Ladies if I met ya pls feel free to comment so I can remember you all or tweet me! I'd love to get to know you all even more so than I got to at dinner.

until we meet again this upcoming weekend Los Angeles, I bid you adieu.

Brasil! hoardingshit

Okay. If you follow me on Twitter you'd know that i've been watching the World Cup. Yesterday was Brasil vs. North Korea. I was obviously rooting for Brasil and they won! I don't own any green clothing so I showed my support with a yellow tank top with yellow & green eyeshadow :]
errr.. I forgot what the names of the colors are, sorry :[ i'm at work and don't have the makeup with me
I did however, use all MAC eyeshadows.
free surra de bunda dances on me after Brasil's victory!
just feckin kiddin y'all. if you don't know what surra de bunda is..omfg watch the video below

^ and that my friends, is how you get pink eye.

Alright, let's get down to the nitty gritty. Topic of today's video/entry is: HOARDING
The thing I hoard? Samples. I keep them, for years. Why? I don't know. I keep saying i'm going to use them eventually or they're handy for travel. In reality, these things have sat around for quite some time. I think i'll actually make it a point to use all these samples up! Anywho, watch my video below.

So..what do you guys hoard or keep around? I'd love to know!

OOTOD - Outfits Of The Other Days

Yea, i'm slow at blogging. AND WHAT!?
Mr. Susyness arrived Friday night. Swooped up my love and took him to his hotel. While he was getting ready for dinner, I actually tried to take blog photos. Guess what!? They didn't turn out too damn good! It's alright though.. If you had seen me, my entire persona was just ON POINT that evening. After he put his suitcase into the trunk of my car, copped himself a little booty grab and gave me a kiss he said "you look very cute babe" *melt* yeah, i'm a sucker. I like it when my man notices that I dressed up. I am normally a tshirt/tank top & jeans kind of gal.. This he also knows.
hmm..yeah, not too good at all. hahaha
Michael by Michael Kors zebra print furry pumps I found at Ross.
Originally costs: $165 Ross price: $39.99 <--- I'm a bargain hunter.
Mr. Susyness saw me struggling with the digicam in front of the mirror. I also told him to help me take a picture for my blog.
quick run down of the outfit:
top: Arden B. on clearance for $20 (store was closing down)
camisole: Forever21 $2.50
pants: Flying Monkey skinny jeans $80 got them at Planet Funk
shoes: Michael by Michael Kors from Ross for only $40!
I have the dumbest looking smirk on my face because I still feel uncomfortable when I ask others to help me take pictures for my blog. Well, except when I ask Melissa to do it. I know she feels me since she is a blogger too! I don't feel as self-centered but WHAT THE HELL EVER. I'll get over that feeling eventually. We're all a little vain anyway ;)
@ Ceja Vineyards in Napa
my shades: Fendi , $80 at Nordstrom Rack
dress: Forever 21 $9.50 bought it AGES ago
shoes: Jessica Simpson $30 at Buffalo Exchange (thrift store)
Louis Vuitton: well.. you can only guess.

And you can actually SEE my pudgy little Buddha belly - it's saying what's up to you guys.
yea yea yea, I know I have skinny arms and legs, but I DO HAVE A BELLY. I hide it.

The other fine lovely ladies are Melissa (center) and Ej.
Melissa's dress is Betsey Johnson and I believe Ej's dress is a Diane Von Furstenberg. The shoes of both ladies I am unsure of, sorry! Okay I lied again. Melissa is wearing Cynthia Vincent for Target wedges $30 yeap, I googled them. Okay I lied again, I cheated I looked at her blog hahahaha

that is all for now. i'm behind on making packages (again) and since basically fucked me over with my order, I am once again on the hunt for a pink dress. I think i've got one though thanks to the lovely Sophia :] However, I will once again have to wait for it to be shipped to me *sigh*

okay I lied. one last outfit
got this shirt as a gift in the mail from a very special lady .. i actually cried opening the package.
i didn't tell her that when I thanked her, but I seriously cried because she gave me a card. she made it herself, and it was watercolors with all these lovely French things on it. so sweet and touching.. guess what Chauie?? I'M GOING TO ROCK THIS SHIRT IN PARIS!!
i'm wearing it FOR YOU!!!! <33333333333 merci beaucoup mon amour

okay. this time i'm done. for real real.
ta ta's and hoo-ha's!

i'm cold

It's cold in San Francisco. The bizarre humidity wave has ended. Again, it's cold in San Francisco and so is my heart. I need to chase the sun. I was born for warmer climates. I need to get out of here.
I can't believe half of this year has flown by already. I'm very happy with how much I have accomplished and achieved, yet at the same time I feel like i've done nothing at all. Life is a great adventure and I am so anxious to keep on trekking. I seriously need to up my roots and re-locate: currently working on that.
Ladies, all you beautiful ladies.. I'm quite pleased with myself that i've met a handful of you. You chicas don't know how much that shit means to me. I know a lot of females don't get along with others due to our innate cattiness and many of us SAY so..But i'm so happy we get along. You all know who you are, I don't need to single you all out. Mad love to you though xoxo

Anyway.. I know i've been really behind on blogging. I've done so much and I can't keep up with the photos, uploading, tagging etc. I've eaten at fancy spots and some hole in the wall spots. If you want to keep up with that, feel free to check out my Yelp page. There's a thingermajigger posted on the lower right hand corner of this blog that will take you there. I also fly out to Los Angeles monthly, so new Southern California spots will appear every now and then. Those of you who have my Facebook, you can always check there for photos :]
This post will entirely be pictures. A real, actual beauty related post will be done soon - I promise.
Also, i've decided on what the prize will be for my giveaway (a bunch of my current favorite items) but I want to make y'all work for it! I need to think of a contest entry.. It'll come to me as I bang out this post I suppose. But if it doesn't, i'll sit on it. Alright so Memorial Day Weekend has come and gone. I ventured to sunnier and hotter pastures, the adult playground, the city of sin...LAS VEGAS!
 Melissa & I en route.
I was up till 3:30am chatting with Serena (♥) and up at 8am to pack for my noon flight. I finished packing and left instantly to the airport. Procrastinator of 2010 Championship Award goes to: me!
See that girl behind Melissa? She was being a whorebag!!!!
She was talking about modeling her bikinis for her boyfriend and telling her friends her boyfriend knows she's going to Vegas, but he has no clue what her intentions are.
s c a n d a l o u s

with Meli's BFF Cecy (far left)
naturally, our 1st destination was the pool!
Those pink cups we're holding? Cecy brought them. Oh boy.
The contents were so delicious (Grey Goose Pear + cran) but dangerous!
hot hot summer heat? hot hot summer nails
I don't even recall the above photo. Know why? I blame the pink cup.
my outfit for night numero dos.
a Metropark tank that was on clearance (I got it years ago, for less than $40), paired with a belt from Express, shorts from Guess and Carlos Santana heels.
♥ my mafioso ♥
Cecy curled our hair! That girl knows how to work a curling iron b/c my curls stayed in ALL NIGHT LONG
@ Surrender, the newest (and hottest!) nightclub at Encore
shakin' it like the girls in David Guetta videos to "Sexy Bitch"
girls, girls, girls, girls...girls I do adore!
in one of those bungalow/cabana things at Surrender w/ Hansoul & Cynthia. Such pretty ladies!
no hanky panky!!!

During my last hours in Vegas, I stayed by the pool. Cecy, Melissa and I were given free passes to Bare, the topless pool lounge at The Mirage.
We decided to check it out (free, why not?) and no we didn't get topless. We were very glad to keep our tops ON.
we're having the time of our lives, despite the dirty dirty dirty pool

just for fun:
fellow San Franciscans have heard me make fun of hipsters before.
from Melissa's facebook: Non-Prescription glasses. Check. Thrift Store Bag. Check. Fixie Pride. Check....Now she's set to roll in the Mission!
I said: I just need a PBR in my hand and i'm all set!
